Our Story
Our family adopted a wonderful puppy named Maverick. After less than a week, he became very sick with a life-threatening illness. Even though we caught it early, we couldn’t get him into our veterinary hospital or access other help in time. Sadly, he didn’t survive. Out of this tragedy, our family created Maverickslist—a practical, community-focused guide designed to help pet owners find urgent help faster. It’s a place to gather reliable options and make decisions before panic and time pressure take over. Our mission is simple: reduce preventable loss by helping families know what to do, where to go, and how to advocate for their pets in a crisis. We share Maverick’s story to honor him, and to remind every pet owner that preparation is an act of love.
